Our RESORBA® suture range includes absorbable as well as non-absorbable suture combinations which also combine a wide range of suture materials, needle shapes, needle sizes and thread lengths.
An essential component of surgical procedures is to ensure safe and reliable haemostasis and tissue regeneration. AMS offers a wide range of collagens and oxidised cellulose products marketed under its RESORBA® brands. Collagen products are also available that contain antibiotics.
Our RESORBA® dental portfolio has been developed to yield the best possible functional and aesthetic results in dental surgery. We offer a broad range of sutures and collagens for dental surgery. Our quality collagen products are an ideal starting material for successful oral and maxillofacial surgery, as well as implantology.

We are a leading manufacturer of innovative and technologically advanced products for the global market in contemporary wound care, surgery and wound closure. Our focus is on providing the best possible results for patients.
We manufacture a wide range of products and materials, including silver and other alginates, foams, tissue adhesives, sutures, as well as haemostats. These are sold under our own brands ActivHeal®, LiquiBand® and RESORBA®.
We produce products and materials at two locations in Great Britain, one in the Netherlands, two in Germany and one in the Czech Republic. Our products are sold in 70 countries via a network of multinational as well as regional partners and distributors, but also through direct sales in Great Britain, Germany, the Czech Republic and Russia. Established in 1991, we now employ over 500 people.
